Creative Characters Acting
ages 3 – 6 |
Your little one will get to roar with the lions as we act out exciting stories with creative movement, costumes and props.
Classes begin with developmentally appropriate vocal and physical warm-ups. And include introductory rhyming games and tongue twisters that are designed to aid language acquisition and articulation. The energetic creative movement segment encourages cooperative interaction and develops rhythm, balance and coordination. Musical elements are introduced as well. Students are playing instruments and creating sound effects that go along with story-plays. We will also make puppets, masks and art projects to complement the short stories read in class. |
Acting for Kids
age 6-12 |
Come explore the exciting world of theater with an introduction to improvisation, games, monologues, commercials and scene work designed to develop self-expression and creativity. Students will get to direct a scene or commercial of their own. Everyone will create sound effects, convey mood with back-drops and lighting and use costumes and theatrical make-up to create the perfect character. |
Art Sampler

Sculpt and squish salt and polymer clay into works of art! Everyone becomes an artist in this class, as we paint, draw with charcoal & pastels, carve and learn printmaking. We will try it all—from learning drawing techniques to sculpting giant monsters to tiny dancing mice. Let your creativity soar with this 8-week on-going class. |
